Why the H2C costs 5.5x as much

The H2C (November 2025) is the most specialized printer Bambu sells: a tool-changing Vortek system with six swappable hotends plus one fixed, so a single job can run seven materials or colors without purge towers. Add H-series speed, 350C temperatures and an active chamber, and you get a machine aimed at studios and small-batch production.

The P1S shares exactly none of that ambition. It is the proven 256 mm enclosed workhorse at the lowest price Bambu has ever asked for one. For a hobbyist, the P1S plus AMS delivers multicolor at a fraction of the cost, with purge waste as the trade-off.
