Bambu Lab Retail Stores Are Coming to the US: What We Know
Published · Market news, US focus
Brulé's authorized Bambu Lab store in Tokyo (press render), opening July 13.
Short version
Bambu Lab is moving into physical retail, step by step: the company opened its own concept store in Shenzhen's MixC World mall, the first authorized Bambu Lab store outside China opens in Tokyo on July 13 (run by Brulé, the Japanese sister company of US reseller Dynamism), and according to All3DP, Bambu has confirmed that US retail stores are next. No US cities or dates yet. Until then, Micro Center remains the main way to see a Bambu printer in person in the States.
Why this matters if you're in the US
Bambu built its US business almost entirely online: the official store, Amazon, and a dealer network that mostly ships boxes. That works until you want to see an H2C swap hotends before spending $2,399, or compare A1 and P2S print quality side by side instead of squinting at YouTube. A real store answers the questions spec sheets cannot, and it gives you a counter to walk up to when something breaks.
That gap is what makes this retail push the most interesting non-product news from Bambu this year. The printers are mainstream now; the buying experience is catching up.
What is actually confirmed
- Shenzhen: Bambu's own concept store. Bambu opened its first physical retail store in Shenzhen's MixC World mall, and per All3DP's reporting, the company describes it as the start of "a wave of physical locations for the brand, including internationally."
- Tokyo: first authorized store, opens July 13. Operated by Brulé Inc. inside its own office space in Taito ward, one minute from Minowa Station on the Hibiya line, open 10:00 to 17:00. Visitors can watch machines print, get advice from staff, and buy printers and consumables to take home, with the lineup on display "from the latest models to core products" (Brulé's press release).
- US: confirmed as the next step, per All3DP. All3DP's July 9 report is headlined "Bambu Lab Confirms US Retail Stores Are Next" and frames Tokyo as "only the beginning for a retail strategy for Bambu Lab." The detailed reporting sits behind All3DP's paywall, so specifics like cities, format, and timing are not public in that piece's free portion.
The Dynamism connection
The detail worth watching: Brulé, the company running the Tokyo store, is the Japanese sister company of Dynamism, one of the larger US 3D printer resellers and an authorized Bambu dealer. If the authorized-store model works in Tokyo, the same corporate family already has the US infrastructure to repeat it. That is our read, not an announcement, but it is the obvious template: Bambu supplies branding and demo units, an established reseller supplies the storefront and staff.
What you can do today
If you want to put hands on a Bambu printer in the US right now, Micro Center carries the lineup in its stores, from the A1 mini up to the H2C, mostly as in-store pickup items with per-store stock. It is a shelf in an electronics store rather than a brand experience, but it beats buying a $1,000+ machine sight unseen. Beyond that, Bambu's dealer locator lists authorized resellers by region.
What we don't know yet
- Which US cities, and whether Bambu-owned or partner-run (the Tokyo model suggests partners)
- Timing: nothing announced beyond "next"
- Whether stores will handle service and repairs or stay demo-and-sales only
The bottom line
Shenzhen proved Bambu wants physical retail, Tokyo proves the authorized-partner model, and the US is publicly on the roadmap. For a company that shipped its first printer in 2022 and has now passed a million units, walking into a Bambu store in an American city stopped being a hypothetical this month. We will track dates and locations as they land.
