This is the clearest either-or in the current lineup. The P1S is CoreXY, enclosed with HEPA and carbon filtration, happy with ABS and ASA, but limited to 256 mm. The A2L (June 2026) is an open-frame bed-slinger with 66% more build volume, chainable AMS lite up to 19 colors and an optional cutting plotter, but no chamber: ABS/ASA will warp on anything large.
For decorative prints, cosplay parts and big functional PLA/PETG pieces, the A2L's volume wins. For engineering-adjacent materials, garages that get cold, or fume-sensitive spaces, the enclosed P1S wins. At $70 apart, price is not the decider; your filament is.
