Which one should I buy?

Quick answer: Different shapes of the same budget: the P1S at $399 gives you an enclosure for ABS/ASA in a 256 mm cube; the A2L at $469 gives you a much bigger 330 x 320 x 325 mm volume but no enclosure. Pick by material: enclosed P1S for warp-prone filaments, open A2L for big PLA/PETG prints.

P1S

  • You print ABS/ASA or want fume filtration
  • CoreXY speed and a proven platform matter
  • Your parts fit in 256 mm

A2L

  • You want the largest budget Bambu volume (330 x 320 x 325 mm)
  • PLA/PETG covers your materials
  • The 19-color chained AMS lite or cutting plotter appeals to you

Enclosure or volume, pick one

This is the clearest either-or in the current lineup. The P1S is CoreXY, enclosed with HEPA and carbon filtration, happy with ABS and ASA, but limited to 256 mm. The A2L (June 2026) is an open-frame bed-slinger with 66% more build volume, chainable AMS lite up to 19 colors and an optional cutting plotter, but no chamber: ABS/ASA will warp on anything large.

For decorative prints, cosplay parts and big functional PLA/PETG pieces, the A2L's volume wins. For engineering-adjacent materials, garages that get cold, or fume-sensitive spaces, the enclosed P1S wins. At $70 apart, price is not the decider; your filament is.

Get the P1S if...

  • You print ABS/ASA or want fume filtration
  • CoreXY speed and a proven platform matter
  • Your parts fit in 256 mm

Get the A2L if...

  • You want the largest budget Bambu volume (330 x 320 x 325 mm)
  • PLA/PETG covers your materials
  • The 19-color chained AMS lite or cutting plotter appeals to you

The H2S offers 340 x 320 x 340 mm enclosed at $1,199, so the A2L delivers almost H-series volume, open, for 39% of the price. That is its whole pitch.
