Volume against chamber

The A2L is the budget XL: an open bed-slinger with nearly H-series volume, chainable AMS lite and an optional cutting plotter. Its ceiling is material: no enclosure means PLA/PETG territory for anything big. The X2D is the opposite trade: a smaller 256 mm cube, but actively heated to 65C, with an auxiliary second nozzle and the newest AMS 2.0, so it prints materials the A2L simply cannot handle at size.

They launched two months apart in 2026 and split Bambu's mid-range in two: pick by whether your limiting factor is centimeters or chemistry.
